Pantomime in the Herault
From the Creme de Languedoc Newsletter...
For those of you that haven't already heard, Hérault has its first ever French language pantomime coming to the Illustre Theater, Pézenas this Christmas. It has been adapted in French by a very talented English producer and is not to be missed. Cinderella herself will be played by an eighteen year-old French girl and will be joined by twenty mice on stage, played by children between the ages of 8 and 12 years. It will be a night to remember - all of the traditional pantomime elements with a French twist.
For group bookings of 10 or more there is a reduction if you book before the 20th November. Cendrillon runs from the 21st - 30th December. Check out the website www.cendrillontheatre.com

rental for your holiday
rental for your holiday
What do we do?

Welcome to KiddieKitRentals! Let me start by explaining what we do. We offer for rental a wide range of baby and toddler (0 - 4 years) equipment. Based around Pézenas in the Hérault region of Languedoc Roussillon, France, our aim is to help holidaying families with young children. Whether you are staying in rental properties who can only supply so much baby equipment or with grandparents for whom it's not worth actually buying all the kit when it's used for such a short time, we hope we can help. Essentially, little ones need a lot of kit, much of which can be bulky and heavy, so we are here to save you the bother of transporting baby equipment from your home all the way to your holiday destination. Also, consider us your emergency helpline in the event of a forgotten, lost or broken item of indispensable kiddie kit! Read more.Monday, 7 September 2009

This week is la rentrée for millions of kids across France – the annual return to school after the long holiday break. But with swine flu in the air, some schools are banning les bises – kissing.
The mayor of Guilvinec (in Finistère in Brittany) kicked it all off. She decreed that there would be no more kissing on the cheek for any child in the town. Not while France is having its pandemic alert at any rate. Read more.
